Identity of Robert Moore

There is a discrepancy in the birth place between the Robert Moore in the marriage record (Wheeling, West Virginia) and the Robert Moore who was the son of Thomas Moore and Elizabeth Carlisle (Ohio according to the 1910, 1920 and 1930 censuses). This calls into question whether they were the same person.

On the other hand, both Robert Moore (the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Moore) and Florence Moore were listed as married but not living with their spouse in the 1930 census (him in New Philadelphia as a laborer in a steel mill[2]; her in Columbus as a registered nurse in a private family[3]), which suggests that the Robert who married Florence may have been the same person as the son of Thomas and Elizabeth.

If there are other sources that either confirm or contradict the identity of Robert Moore, the husband of Florence Allison, they should be added.
