Oswego Palladium-Times, 5 July 1940: MITCHELL--ROSER Ricard, July 5-- The marriage of Miss Mildred Isabelle Roser, daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Roser and the late George Roser, and Robert Earl Mitchell, son of [Lambert] Mitchell of Pulaski, took place in a ceremony performed by the Rev. Clark Robinson in the Ricard Methodist church... Saturday. Decorations for the altar were ferns and red roses... Miss Mary Tanner was maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Frances Hall and Juanita Olin. Harold MItchell was the best man. Lawrence Hall and Vernon Wheeler were ushers. Carolyn Austin of Pulaski, and Beverly Montieth of Orwell, were flower girls. Mrs. Nelson Rowell played the wedding march. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Clarence Roser. She wore white with a long trailing veil... A reception followed at the Roser home, after which the couple left for a trip to Canada, and will return by way of Niagara Falls. The bride traveled in a blue silk crepe dress. On their return they will make their home in Pulaski, where Mr. Mitchell is employed by Dr. Mason. Mrs. Mitchell attended the Altmar Union School and Mr. Mitchell, Pulaski Academy.
