  1. As stated in the note on Robert's page, the marriage record found in Subury VRs, p. 232, "MANN, Robert and Sarah Talbot, Mar. 17, 1700-1, in Concord" is before Robert's previous wife died. It is not known that there was another Robert Mann to accommodate the dates as written, so presumably either the death date or marriage date is wrong. Their first child was born in 1707, so 1700-1 seems a long time before the first child, and it is speculated this is 1706/7, which could possible be misread on a bad copy as 1700/1. In an article in Source:Genealogical Magazine (Eben Putnam), "Emigrants to New England Before 1700 of the Name of Talbot" by well-known genealogist J. Gardner Bartlett, it is stated Vol. 1, No. 5, p. 143: "Tradition states that Peter1 Talbot had a dau. Sarah, and a Sarah Talbot m., Mar. 17, 1707, Robert Mann of Sudbury; she d. July 19, 1710, leaving two children.", which conforms to the speculated solution, but can't be supported by records.
