Robert and Mary had two daughters.

Mary's obituary reads, "MARY E. BRINKER, 84, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, July 29, 2005, at her residence. Born Feb. 27, 1921, in Monroeville, she was a homemaker and member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband, Robert C. Brinker of Fort Wayne; daughters, Anita Brinker of Highland Park, N.J. and Maryanne (Michael) Budreau of Kendallville; sisters, Catherine Ristau of Geneseo, Ill., Monica Knecht of Monroeville and Carolyn Hill of Milton, Wis.; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, 7215 Saint Joe Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 Saint Joe Road, with the Rosary at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
