1950 Census

On April 1, 1950, Richard and Doris Minott lived at 4 Andrews Road in Bath, Maine. Richard was 28; Doris was 27. They had 2 children: a 3 year old daughter and a newborn son (born Oct., 1949). Both Richard and Doris were born in Maine. Richard worked 40 hours a week doing office work in the shipbuilding industry (he worked for Bath Iron Works). Doris had additional information collected in the 1950 Census. Her father was born in the U.S. and her mother was born in Canada (French). Doris completed high school, and had not worked for wages in 1949.
