- The date of marriage for Richard and Ellen could not be 1552, even though the actual record has not been found. Circumstantially, Ellen's will bequeaths to "my son, John Baldwyn" born 1529-31, as well as "Henry Baldwyn, my son", "Rychard Baldwyn and to Sylvester Baldwyn, my sonnes" and "Doughters, Cecilye & Lettyce,". As both John and Henry (eldest)are, in 1552/53 described as "under the age of 23", ca 1529 is the earliest that the elder son could have been born, and 1530 the earliest birth year for John. On that basis I have adjusted the birth year for Henry and will add Richard and Ellen's additional children.
- The Manor of Dundridge is actually closer to Cholesbury, and the closest inhabited area (perhaps hamlet)to Dundridge at the time, St. Leonard's. However, each place aforesaid was in the parish of Aston Clinton. Technically, when we speak of someone as born or died at Dundridge, the best place description we can note, is Aston Clinton (parish), Buckinghamshire, England. Some, residing at Dundridge describe themselves as "of St. Leonard's" perhaps because of the church there. Perhaps entering the words "parish,Dundridge" in the description after using Aston Clinton.... in the place ? field.
