This document describes the murder of Rex Sansing by the hand of Lon Johnson whose conviction was affirmed and sentenced to life imprisonment. Quoting the document: "The killing occurred on the night of the 20th day of November, 1919, on a byroad about three or four miles south of the town of Parkhill, in Cherokee county (Oklahoma), between the hours of 10 and 11 o'clock". The Court of Appeals document describes the events leading up to and those that took place at the scene of the crime.
