This document describes the murder of Rex Sansing by the hand of Lon Johnson whose conviction was affirmed and sentenced to life imprisonment. Quoting the document: "The killing occurred on the night of the 20th day of November, 1919, on a byroad about three or four miles south of the town of Parkhill, in Cherokee county (Oklahoma), between the hours of 10 and 11 o'clock".
