↑ This marriage is not proven. However, (1) this Kezia Beach is the only one recorded in published Connecticut Vital Records who would have been an appropriate age to marry Reuben; (2) she was born in Torrington which is where this marriage was recorded; (3) Reuben's brother David married one Mindwell Beach and his sister married one Samuel Beach, both Beaches apparently siblings of this Kezia. This appears to be Kezia's first marriage, occurring late in life, to a widowed brother-in-law.
