Ralph and Ellen Remeschatis are living in the Remeschatis family home at 521 Bainbridge St., in Brooklyn NY, with their daughter, Mary Ellen, aged 9 months. Ralph is 28 and was born in New York. Ellen is 29 and was born in Michigan. They lived in the same place in 1935. Ralph completed four years of college, and Ellen completed high school. Ralph works full time as an engineer in a construction business (he worked 40 hours the week of the census,and has worked all year). He earned $1800 in 1939, and did not receive income other than earned income. Ellen does not work outside the home. See S2
