DANE, Philemon, and Ruth Converse, Dec. 25, 1690.
The marriage date is reported as 25 Dec 1698 in various secondary sources (e.g., Savage). This clearly started as somebody's typo, and has propagated through blind copying. All the children were born before this date so it is clearly invalid.
