1870 Census (Mendota)

All members of household were white. 

Peter Yockey, 38 year old male day laborer born in Baden, Germany.  Both parents were of foreign birth.
     He held $1000 in real estate and $120 in personal estate
Adelia (Yockey), 30 year old female born in Pennsylvania
Ida (Yockey), 10 year old schoolgirl born in Illinois.  Father of foreign birth.
Ada (Yockey), 10 year old schoolgirl born in Illinois.  Father of foreign birth.

1880 Census (Mendota)

All members of the household were white. Ida and Ada appear to be twin daughters. 

() Peter Yockey, 48 year old male teamster born in Germany. Both of his parents were born in Germany.
(Wife) Cordelia (Yockey), 41 year old female born in Pennsylvania.  Her father was born in Virginia and mother in Maryland.
(Daughter) Ida (Yockey), 20 year old single female born in Illinois.  Her father was born in Germany and mother in Pennsylvania.
(Daugher) Ada (Yockey), 20 year old single female born in Illinois.  Her father was born in Germany and mother in Pennsylvania.

All members of the household were white. They live in a free owned home in the city. 

(Head) Peter Yockey, 68 year old male coal dealer born Mar 1831 in Germany.  Both of his parents were born in Germany.  Peter immigrated to the United States in 1853 and has been in the US for 47 years; he is naturalized.
(Wife) Cordelia (Yockey), 61 year old female born Mar 1893 in Pennsylvania.  Her father was born in Virginia and mother in Maryland.  She has had three children, two still living.
     Peter and Cordelia have been married for 44 years.
(Grandson) Willis E Burnett, 18 year old married male hotel clerk born Sep 1881 in Illinois.  Both of his parents were born in Illinois.

All members of household were white. They lived in a free owned home in the city. 

(Head) Peter Yockey, 78 year old male coal dealer born in Germany.  He immigrated in 1849 and was a naturalized citizen.  Both of his parents had been born in Germany.
(Wife) Cordelia M (Yockey), 71 year old female born in Pennsylvania.  Her father was born in Virginia and mother in Maryland.
     Their marriage was the first for each, and they had been married for 54 years.  Cordelia has had 3 children, 2 of whom remain living.
