    His father, Peter, was a native of Virginia, and came to Kentucky when a boy. He married Sallie Neal, by whom he had twelve children, six of whom are now living, four sons and two daughters. He died January 1, 1863. His wife died, January 20, 1867. Both are buried in Henry county, Kentucky.
