Most of the data that has been posted on this page was entered based on one paragraph in Source:Babson, John J. History of the Town of Gloucester, Cape Ann, p. 90 describing all known Emons, but presumes relationships not actually given by that source, some of which are wrong (Cooley is a brother of Peter, not son, others may be too?) More sources are needed, but there is very little written about this family, no probate files, few deeds.
