  2.   Source:Jacobus, Donald Lines. Bulkeley Genealogy, p. 127, notes that Peter's will of 25 Mar 1691 mentions a bed that is at Hannah Sherman's, and leaves it to her. This has caused some people to assume Hannah, wife of Matthew Sherman was a daughter of Peter. However, Peter's children were named in his brother Gershom's will of 26 May 1712 ("brother Peter's children-Gershom, Peter, Grace, Margaret, and Dorothe"), and she was not included so she is probably not part of this family.
