This is an image of a handwritten VR (either the original or a copy likely made shortly after the original). Most of the page is preserved, but some text has been lost on the right-hand side.

'These may certifie that Palmer Cleveland of Easter[lost] Northup widow to David Northup late of North Kingstown [lost] were Both joyned together in marriage [in sd?] Town [lost] This 1st Day of July in 1751 By John Congdon Justice [lost]'

It appears that Arnold read "of Easter" as "& Easter" (a common way of writing the name Esther). Cleveland, apparently working from a different copy of the VR, shows the phrase to be "of Exeter".

The Genealogy of the Cleveland and Cleaveland Families: an attempt to trace, in both the male and the female lines, the posterity of Moses1 Cleveland who came from Ipswich, County Suffolk, England, about 1635, was of Woburn, Middlesex County, Massachusetts; of Alexander Cleveland of Prince William County, Virginia; and of ancient and other Clevelands in England, America and elsewhere; with numerous biographical sketches; and containing ancestries of many of the husbands and wives; also a bibliography of the Cleveland family and a genealogical account of Edward Winn of Woburn and of other Winn families. (Hartford, Connecticut: Case, Lockwood, and Brainard Company, 1899)
    1:77.

Cleveland transcribes the marriage a bit differently from the image found at FamilySearch. A copy was likely made shortly after the marriage was first recorded. Cleveland's citation is:
"July 1, 1751, John Congdon, Justyce of ye Peace, certifies that Palmer Cleveland of Exeter, and ----- Northup, widow to David Northup, late of North Kingstowne, were both lawfully joyned together in marriage in ye town of -----."
