  2. Source:Smith, Dean Crawford. Ancestry of Eva Belle Kempton 1878-1908, Vol. 4, p. 521, identifies Martha as Martha (Newhall) Wilson, widow of Nathaniel Wilson but no evidence of that is given and the death of Nathaniel is derived from this fact/assumption. Source:Stevens, Ken. Descendants of Jacob Wilson of Braintree, Massachusetts, p. 8, says the same, citing Source:Newhall, Charles Lyman. Record of My Ancestry, which does not mention a second marriage for Nathaniel Wilson's wife nor his death (p. 16). Source:Pike, Ruth G. Some Descendants of James Pike of Charlestown and Reading, Massachusetts, p. 87, names Martha as "Widow Martha (White) Wilson" but presents no evidence. No such Martha (White) Wilson has been found, and it is assumed the Martha (Newhall) Wilson identification is correct. No direct evidence has been found, but the presence of son Nathaniel Wilson in Leicester, who with wife Sarah Parish, named a daughter Martha suggests that this is correct.
