    10 Apr 1819: Memorial of Oliver Reed of Bedford that Oliver Nathan Reed & Mary Elizabeth Reed, children of your petitioner, are minors under the age of fourteen years & heirs at Law of their grandfather Thaddeus Fitch late of said Bedford, gentleman dec'd, intestate; - that it is necessary a guardian should be appointed to said minors.
    10 Apr 1819: Bond of Oliver Reed of Bedford as guardian of "Oliver Nathan Reed, & Mary Elizabeth Reed of said Bedford, minors, under the age of fourteen years, & children of the said Oliver Reed".
    12 Apr 1826: Bond of Oliver Reed of Bedford as guardian of Nathan Oliver Reed and Mary E. Reed of Bedford to sell land.
    19 Jul 1826: Bond of Oliver Reed of Bedford as guardian of Nathan O. Reed to sell land. Separate bond for Mary Elizabeth Reed.
    9 Apr 1827: "Mary E. Reed a minor above the age of fourteen years, Daughter of Oliver Reed o f Bedford, in said County, yeoman, living more than ten miles distance from your Honors dwelling house" [i.e., not deceased] made choice of Joel Fitch of said Bedford, gentleman, as guardian
    11 Apr 1827: "Nathan O. Reed a minor above the age of fourteen years, Son of Oliver Reed of Bedford in said County, yeoman, living more than ten miles distance from your Honors dwelling hous," made choice of Joel Fitch of said Bedford as guardian.
    11 Apr 1827: Petition of Joel Fitch of Bedford that "Nathan O Reed & Mary E. Reed, are minors above the age of fourteen years & children of Oliver Reed ["late" crossed out] of Reed [?sic?] aforesaid, yeoman, & Legatees in the last will & testament of John Moore their great grandfather, dec'd that it is necessary a guardian should be appointed ..." Bonded the same day.
    19 Nov 1827: Inventory of estate of minor Nathan O. Reed and Mary E. Reed, paid over to present guardian.
    28 Dec 1828: Bond of Joel Fitch of Bedford as guardian of Nathan O. Reed & Mary E. Reed to sell land.
