Oliver Fairbank of Lancaster declared his Intentions of marriage with Susanna Gates of Littleton, February 15th 1772.
- Source:Fairbanks, Lorenzo Sayles. Genealogy of the Fairbanks Family in America, 1633-1897, p. 116, lists several children for which the basis is unknown (he lists 11 children total). He may have some correspondence from a family member to guide him, but some minor inconsistencies in his information discourage putting a blind trust in its accuracy. At this time, only children for whom concrete records have been located have been entered. The 1790 census shows 5 males and 2 females. The census shows 6 males and 3 females.
