    Includes an excerpt from Genealogy of the Onderdonk Family (1910) which claims that Obadiah Bowne married his first cousin Elizabeth Bowne and then Elizabeth Langveldt (Longfield).

    The second marriage is supported by the fact that on 2 July 1724, Obadiah's children John, Anne and Lydia Bowne, heirs of Andrew Bowne, released him (administrator of Andrew Bowne) and his wife Elizabeth [NYGBR 4:25].
