"_____Webb and I were married in Rushville, Ind., Sept. 25th, 1856. Removed to Iowa soon after (in fall of same year.)
"_____Our first child, Pleasant J. Mills, was born July 5th, 1856. The next was Kate, born on Dec. 25, 1858, died Sept. 25th, 1859 She was buried in Woodland cemetery and she and her father now lie side by side in Woodland. Minnie Mills was the third child, and was born Feb. 14th, 1860. She was only two years old when Webb died and Pleasant five. These children were all born in Des Moines. Ia. Webb was born near Ladoga, Montgomery Co., Ind., not far from Crawfordsville, to which place his father moved when Webb was a year or two old."
