    The will of Mary (Miller) (Hodges) Anderson provides much useful information about several families. Mary names two siblings, George Miller in Wales, and Joanna (Miller) (Davidson) Kent of Newbury. Joseph Lynde had married first Sarah Davidson, Mary's niece by her sister's first husband, and then Emma (Anderson) Brackenbury, Mary's daughter by her second husband. This interpretation avoids the need to propose that Mary was a member of a Hodges alias Miller family, as some have proposed (GDMNH 189].
