Be it Remembered that on the ninth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty five Newell D Clark and Sarah Rawson of the County of Portage were legally joined in marriage by competent authority, in conformity to the provisions of the statues of the State of Ohio, in such cases made and provided; and a certificate of such marriage, signed by L. V. Bierce a Justice of the Peace who solemnized the same has been filed in the office of the Clerk of the Court of common pleas, for said County of Portage this tenth day of April Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and thirty five.
