    Ruth "Miss Ruth" Vogelgesang, 92, of Meta died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1998, at ST. Elizabeth Care Center in St. Elizabeth. She was born Sept. 17, 1906, in Meta to Nancy Frances Crismon. On May 19, 1934, she was married in Jefferson City to Henry Clinton Jacobs, who died in 1950. On Nov. 6, 1957, she was married in Dixon to Neal Dow Vogelgesang, who died Aug 5, 1986.
