  2. Allred, p. 73 and 141, is unable to identify either party to this marriage. The following Franklin deeds suggest he is Dr. Nathaniel Holbrook, though this conclusion is based on circumstantial evidence, that he was of Warwick when he married but soon left so there is little information to be found in Warwick. Dr. Nathaniel Holbrook was b. 1761 in Grafton, MA, moved to Orange, VT, before 1800, m. (2) 1803 Lydia Foster and d. Orange, VT, 1831.

    Vol. 13, p. 178 14 Aug 1792: John & Thomas Mallard of Warwick Husbandmen for £1-10-0 convey to Nathaniel Holbrook of Warwick Physician one acres in Warwick bounded by road from Warwick to Richmond.

    Vol. 13, p. 177 8 Jun 1793: Abraham Stevens of Warwick for £21 convey to Nathaniel Holbrook of Warwick Physician 12 acres, part of lot 61 in Warwick first Division.

    Vol. 13, p. 179 2 May 1796: Jonas Brewer of Royalston for $180 conveys to Nathaniell Holbrook of Athol Physician about 40 acres in Warwick being the lot Doctor Moses Gaffield died seized of.

    Vol. 13, p. 181 1 Jun 1797: Nath'l Holbrook of Athol Physician for $1000 conveys to Benjamin Hazelton of Warwick 44 acres in Warwick.
