- ↑ Nathaniel has 7 children recorded, 3 of whom end up surviving to be named in his will: John and Jacob from the first marriage, and Mary from this, the second marriage. The deaths for the first Timothy and the first Mary can be matched with some confidence. However that means the second Timothy, and Susanna, need death dates assigned. We have death records for two unnamed children of Nathaniel, but it is not obvious how to allocate them. If there are unrecorded births, say another Timothy, the following analysis would be made invalid.
It appears that either Susanna's birth, or the death in 1744 is off by one year (or the age was misrecorded, losing "1 yr." to go with the 1 m. that is there). But a death in Nov. with an age of 1 m. matches a birth in October, and Susanna is the only one who appears to qualify. But process of elimination, the death of the unnamed child in 1749 must be Timothy.
