Benedict of Bastard and Mercy Wing of Farmersville, County of Leeds, District of Johnstown and Province of Canada (West) being desirous of intermarrying with each other they having made application to me for that purpose, they having also presented a licence, Now these are to certify that I Hugh Nichols Elder and Minister of the Baptist Church at Kitley did on this the 12th day of June 1849 marry the said Nathaniel K. Benedict and Mercy Wing together and they are become legally contracted to each other as witness my hand at Bastard this the 12th day of June 1849.
