NATHAN HALL, pedigree as before: was born November 4, 1799. He lived with his father, and either inherited his estate or bought the shares of the other heirs, for he lived and died where his father had lived. He married, December 18, 1820, Mary Means, who was born November 6, 1801. He owned a fine farm in Taylor county, and died September 28, 1846, aged 47 years. His wife died April 16, 1863.
Children were:
1. Isaac, b. Oct. 5, 1821, and m. 1st, Catharine Jones, Nov. 3, 1843; 2d, Reade, and died July 9, 1856.
2. Lucy Ann, b. Nov. 5, 1823, and m. Jacob Miller, Nov. 3,1848.
3. Jesse, b. Feb. 13, 1826, and d. Nov. 10, 1851.
4. Cyrene, b. July 10, 1828, and m. William Kincaid.
5. Jacob M., b. Nov. 27, 1830, d. April 27, 1834.
6. Elizabeth b. April 30, 1833, and m. Israel Forman. He is a photographer, at Fairmont.
7. William K., b. Oct. 11, 1835, and m. Abalone Knotts, March 3, 1859. His son, James K., furnished me this record. His father has the home place, about four miles from Grafton.
8. Wilbur F., b. Sept. 24, 1838, and m. Priscilla Marquis, March 1, 1860.
9. Nathan, b. Dec. 23, 1840, and m. 1st, Maria Marquis. She died and he married again.
10. Mary C., b. Dec. 7, 1843, and m. Lucas Forman, April 29, 1864.
11. Sarah, b. Dec. 22, 1845, and m. Jacob J. Shroyer, April 23, 1865. He has a family, one of whom, Lillie, attended the Normal School, at Fairmont, for some time.
