    "Mary (Squire), m. in 1688, Nathan Bailey, of Westchester. Marriage covenant made 8 Mar. 1687/8 between Mary Squire, now living at Mr. William Barnes' house in Westchester, dau. of Thomas Squire of Woodbury, and Nathan Bailey of Westchester, by which Bailey agreed to settle £140 upon Mary as her dower at his decease. On 5 Dec. 1688, Nathan Bailey and Mary his wife made agreement, she relinquishing all right of dower on condition that she have liberty to dwell where she please and take employment as she please for an honest livelihood. On 22 Aug. 1689, they annulled their contract of separation, and joined in a deed."
