- ↑ Source:Hayward, William Willis. History of Hancock, New Hampshire, 1764-1889,p. 641, says the husband was Benjamin Temple, but the basis for this is unknown, nor has he been identified. Similarly, for Source:Densmore, Lyman Willard. Hand-Book of Hartwell Genealogy, 1636-1887, p. 169. The most likely one seems to be the son of Abraham and Deborah, b. 1690, known as "Benjamin of Concord", but that Benjamin had a wife named Abigail who was mother of a child in 1722, and who lived until 1777 (i.e., longer than Benjamin). His brother Abraham, s/o Abraham, had a second wife named Rebecca by whom he had two children: Return and Joanna, neither, apparently being recorded, but estimated to be born in the early 1720's. He then moved to New Jersey and his will was probated 1753 mentioning his wife Rebecca. It is possible the widow returned home? (This information largely comes from Source:Temple, Levi Daniel.
