↑ There is a New Hampshire birth record for a Zadock Thompson (Williams?) with mother Sarah Applin and father Moses B. Williams here. This would be right between two children by wife Elizabeth Miles and doesn't make sense. Investigation shows it is indeed miscopied, this child's father being Ebenezer Thompson per town records (see p. 55, second entry; also Source:Read, Benjamin. History of Swanzey, New Hampshire : From 1734 to 1890, p. 471).
