- ↑ It is generally said that Betty died 1844, aged 94 (birth about 1750). See, for example, Source:Ford, Andrew E. History of the Origin of the Town of Clinton, Massachusetts, p. 76. Her apparent will, Worcester probate case 52285, gives everything to Samuel Dollison. Now, it appears, if this is her, that she outlived all her children. And while the family needs more study to gather specifics, it appears she had grandchildren. It would be strange for her to not even mention any of them in favor of someone who appears unrelated. More research is needed. (Born in 1750 seems about right for a woman whose last child was born in 1794, but no likely Betty Larkin has yet been identified whose birth would correspond to the age at death.)
