"Patty" was a nickname for Martha. There were several Martha Deforests at the time, so it is difficult to prove which one was the "Patty Deforest" who married Moses Olmstead. The primary candidate would be Martha Deforest Daughter of Hezekiah Deforest of Wilton Parish, Baptised Jul 14 1751. (Almost literally "the girl next door"). Moses Olmstead was Baptised Apr 28 1751.
