He married NANCY KENNER 1790 in Carter County, Tennessee, daughter of FRANCIS KENNER and ELIZABETH HOWARD. She was born Abt. 1768 in North Carolina, and died Abt. 1820 in Roane County, Tennessee. Specifically, I am looking for the parents of Elizabeth ("Betsy") Knight who married Jared Hotchkiss in Amherst Co. in 1791. Jared was a Revoltionary War soldier from Connecticut. Jared and Betsy migrated from Amherst Co. to East Tennessee, specifically Washington County and then Roane County. They lived in the area of Roane County which later became Loudon County and are buried in New Providence Cemetery there. ▼References
