Marlet's obituary reads, "MARLET G. SOMERS, 80, of 10906 English St., Hoagland, died Wednesday morning in Lutheran Hospital shortly after arrival. Mr. Somers was a native of Fort Wayne and resided here most of his life. He retired in 1962 from the Mineral Baths of South Bend, where he was employed 40 years. He was a World War II Army veteran. His wife, Hazel, survives. Interment will be in Lindenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are by Klaehn's Wayne Street Chapel. There are no services or visitation." Hazel's obituary reads, "HAZEL SOMERS, 82, native of Michigan who resided in Bluffton before moving to Fort Wayne, died at 8:15 p.m. Sunday in a local nursing home. Mrs. Somers and her husband, Marlet, who died in 1980, once operated a mineral-water health spa in South Bend. Surviving is a brother, Lyle Dougberry of Fort Wayne.
