Virgillia's obituary reads, "Virgillia E. Ryan, 91, a resident of Miller's Merry Manor, died at 9:25 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3. She was born June 20, 1895 in Huntington to John D. and Louise G. (Deiser) Miller. Her first marriage was to Sylvester M. Werner who died in 1965. Her second marriage was to Marion E. Ryan who died in 1970. Surviving are two sons, Charles Werner, Silver Lake, and John Werner, Marion, OH; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ivonna Christman, Huntington, and Ann Smith, Fort Wayne. Services were held at the Deal & Robbins Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6. Rev. William Kummer officiated. Burial was in the Mt. Hope Cemetery." [The Huntington County TAB, 8 Dec 1986, pg. 15]
