The Clinton Herald Tuesday September 20, 1983 p. 12 Lyle S. Price, 78, of Clinton Retirement Center, formerly of 144 N. 5th St., died Monday night in the retirement center. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Clinton Chapel of Snell-Zornig Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul O. Pfaltzgraff of First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park Cemetery, Boulder, Colo. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Price was born Dec. 1, 1905, in Clinton, to Henry and Margaret Belles Price. He married Olive Mason Oct. 28, 1935, in Chicago. She died in October 1960. He was educated in the Clinton school system. He was a bricklayer and contractor in Boulder, Colo., for about 20 years, and lived in Clinton the past 22 years. He was a member of Royal Arch Masons No. 7, Boulder, and Bricklayers, Masons and Plasterers International Union of America. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. John (Peg) Cronin of Laguna Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Lester (Rene) Carpenter Schor of Washington, D.C.; a son, Walter L. Price of Lexington, Ky.; nine grandchildren, and a brother, Thomas H. Price of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his wife, five brothers and three sisters.
