Luther's obituary reads, "LUTHER D. ANGEL. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Harris Funeral Home, Syracuse, for Luther D. Angel, 74, R. R. 1, Leesburg. He died Friday in Parkview Memorial Hospital. Mr. Angel, formerly of Fort Wayne, was born at Barbee Lake in Kosciusko County. He retired in 1968 as service dispatcher for Northern Indiana Public Service Co. after 35 years. Surviving is his wife, Nellie. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in North Webster Cemetery. Preferred memorials are gifts to the North Webster Emergency Medical Service." [Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, Saturday 7 August 1982, pg. 2C]
