In 1923, her brother Edward lived in Besancon, and her sister, Mrs. Frank Ehinger, lived in Huntington, Indiana.

Augustine's obituary reads, "Mrs. Louis Jacquay, aged 5, died Saturday at her home in Jefferson township, of cancer, after an illness of eight months. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic church at Besancon, and of the Rosary society. Surviving are the husband; five children - Clarence, of Monroeville; Herschel, Ernest and Herman, of Besancon, and Mrs. Agnes Lothamer, of Besancon; one sister, Mrs. Frank Ehinger, of Huntington; one brother, Edward Huguenard, of Besancon; and 19 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 9:30 o'clock this morning at the Besancon church. Burial took place in the church cemetery." [Fort Wayne News-Sentinel, Monday 17 December 1923, pg. 17]
