Alonzo Richardson, age 73 years and six months passed on at his home in Missouri Valley, January 5, following a lingering illness due to a stroke and complications. He was born in Cherokee County and came to Harrison County in his early youth. He is survived by the widow, two sons, six daughters, two brothers, 37 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren, one brother, one sister. Funeral services was held from the L.D.S. Church in Missouri Valley, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in Magnolia Cemetery. Elder Edward's of Woodbine and J.R. Fry of Missouri Valley officiating.
