    Voted and Agreed Between the Town Council of Exeter and Lester Lillibridge that sd Lillibridge agrees that he will take an _denter (Indenture?) of a Basterd Child Born of the Body of mary Lewis Christened Crandal untill it is Twenty one years old & Educate sd Child to Read & wright well & Cypher through the Rule of Three & said Council agrees to give sd Lillibridge Twenty Two pounds ten Shillings & that to Be for all Costs & Charges Both past & to Come & Bring Sureties for the performance thereof
