Lowell Sun, 7 May 1927, p. 3:

"Mr. Leon R Geddis and Miss Helen Borst were married recently by Rev. Charles L Fowler at his home in Twelfth street. They were attended by Mr. Duncan H McPhail and Miss Ethlyn Geddis. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents in Saratoga street where a buffet lunch was served by the Lydon Catering Co. The bride wore peach colored crepe with hat to match and carried bridal roses. Her attendant wore powder blue crepe with hat to match and carried pink carnations and sweet peas. The bride's gift to her bridesmaid was a mesh bag while the best man received a pair of cuff links from the bridegroom. Mr. and Mrs. Geddis will make their home at 12 Saratoga street."
