    Schleider-McDevitt

    Marcella McDevitt of South Dorset and Leland F. Schleider of Mancliester Depot were united in marriage Monday morning at St. Jerome's Catholic church in East Dorset with Rev. E. C. Fountaine, pastor of the church, celebrating the nuptial mass. The bride's attendent was her sister, Miss Clara M. McDevitt and James Burns acted as best man. The bride was attired in a gray silvertone suit and carried a bouquet of white carnations while the bridesmaid wore an olive green suit and carried pink carnations. A wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride to the immediate families and near relatives after which the bridal couple left by automobile for Bennington where they took the flyer for Detroit, Michigan. They will spent their honeymoon in Toledo, Ohio. The bride was the recipient of many gifts of cut glass, silver, linen and money. The bride's gift to her attendant was a gold brooch while the groom's gift to the best man was a diamond stick pin.
    Both Mr. and Mrs. Schleider are graduates of Burr and Burton seminary and have many friends who wish them much future happiness.

    Schlieder-McDevitt
    St. Jerome's Church in East Dorset, Monday morning was the scene of a very pretty wedding when Marcella F. McDevitt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. McDevitt of South Dorset, and Leland F. Schlieder, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Schlieder of Manchester, were united in marnage by Rev. E. C. Fontaine.
    The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Clara McDevitt and James Burns acted as best man.
    Both the bride and her attendant wore suits of brown silvertone, the bride carrying white carnations and the bridesmaid pink carnations. The wedding march was played by Miss Sadie M. Sherlock of East Dorset.
    A wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride to the immediate families after which the bridal couple left on their honeymoon which will be spent in Buffalo and Detroit. On their return they will reside at Manchester Depot.
    Both Mr. and Mrs. Schlieder are graduates of Burr and Burton Seminary, class of '17.
