Lawrence and his wife Mary were thought to have had only one child, William, born May 3, 1724, (IGI,SP,BLG) however the IGI also lists a first child, Amey, born Nov. 14, 1719. For William to have been an only child, his sister and half brother John must have both died young. (Crossman: A Family History of the Ancestors and Family of Alexander Crossman (1895-1984))
