1850 census: Annotated, compiled by John P. Alderman Lankford was the son of Thomas and Anne Hall, born in Halifax, County. He married first, Louisa Myers, daughter of Stephen Myers, who was also from Halifax. They had six children before Louisa died in 1858. Lankford remarried Rhoda King in 1860 in Pulaski County but died himself two years later.
