    Besides the given name Eleanor, and first daughter born in Littleton, the reason for identifying the wife of Josiah Wood as Eleanor Barrett is a pair of transactions where John Swallow [who married Eleanor's sister Anna] deeded land to kinsman Josiah Wood of Littleton in 1729, and then Josiah and Eleanor in 1730 deeded it back, having received it by "deed of gift".
