20 Dec 1699: Whereas Uriah Leonard and his sister in law Mary Willis formerly widow of said Uriah's brother Joseph, decd., now wife of Joseph Willis, Jr., of Taunton, did some years since hire £40 silver money of Mr. John Blake of Dorcehster. The said Joseph and Mary Willis engage & pay the said Blake. They also quit claim to Uriah Leonard. Witnessed by Thomas Leonard, Eleazer Carver.
