    'In 1660 Henry Whitney complained at Huntington, L. I., against Joseph Whitman for stealing his dau.'s affections contrary to her mother's mind. Edward Frencham deposed that "good Cechom coming to us when I was in Milford" gave his consent for Whitman to marry her. ... The court desired "Sara Cechum" to appear.'

    Henry Whitney was Sarah Ketcham's step-father.
