  2. Source:Allred, Marilyn. Town of Warwick, Franklin County, Massachusetts, Genealogical Records 1739-1900, Births, Marriages,, p. 202, 251, is unable to identify either participant. Joseph Simonds is discovered in his father's will, having no recorded birth. No Orms will is found and no recorded birth is found for Polly Orms. That she is of Warwick suggests she might be a sister of Person:James Ormes (1) who had several children born in Warwick in the early 1800s. Internet data (e.g., here) is not helpful, being completely uncredible: the birth of 1791 would make her 13 at time of marriage, and there is no location attach to the death in 1839 and no such record has been found. Assuming the proposed parentage above is correct, her birth would be sometime after 1774 when the last recorded birth of that family occurs, and she may be the Polly Simonds found in Vermont in the 1850 census (line 15). But nothing has been found to connect this census entry to the marriage in Warwick.
