Genealogies of the Families and Descendants of the Early Settlers of Watertown, Massachusetts, Including Waltham and Weston (1855), p. 426, reports this marriage as 4 May 1774. Presumably he was influenced by the birth of their first child 19 Aug 1775 (Weston VRs, p. 177), but as both the intentions and marriage say 1775, it appears he was being too nice.
