Joseph Pierce and Abigail Green, both of Woburn, Nov. 10, 1742.
Source:Pane-Joyce Genealogy ([1]) identifies the husband of Abigail as the son of Daniel Pierce, adding "Joseph second married Deborah Frost" with no further details. However, Source:Harvard, Worcester, Massachusetts, United States. Vital Records of Harvard, Massachusetts to the Year 1850, p. 79, one finds "Pirce, Dinah, d. Joseph and Deborah, Apr. 22, 1741". Now Joseph, the son of Daniel, had a mother named Dinah, and his brother Daniel lived in Harvard. So it seems likely that Joseph, the son of Daniel, married Deborah (Frost?) and based on the birth date of Dinah, it would rule out his being the husband of Abigail Green. Since, the Joseph Pierce who married Susanna Gleason was pretty old to be marrying for the first time in 1651 at age 37, it seems likely that Abigail was his first wife, making Susanna his second wife. More evidence is needed to support this.
